………….cmr story starts again…

                                       …..this time on fast track and non-stop……

…with the Tamil New year day this year, as the target to complete…!!!

Is it that easy?  … Let us see …...  but I have to somehow manage.

First I should write the concluding chapter of part1 -‘Soil ‘(1760 to 1799) and then move to other parts, each one jumping from one generation to the next.

Seeds (1800); Roots (1830); Trunks (1860); ‘Branches’ (1890); Trees (1920) are names given to part 2 to 6 signifying the growth in stages of our clan that runs parallel with the growth of British colonization of India.

RK brothers and cousins belong to the generation that saw the last phase of freedom struggle and the celebrations of India’s independence.

That is the final part of cmr story in part 7. - Groves (1950)

Though for all practical purpose it is a book of the dead, cmr story is intended to bring the dead alive by going back in time and by imagining the characters and their life in the historical frame to which they are attached.

From the story so far, readers must have become familiar with characters, imaginary though, like Dalavai Ramappan, Venki mama; Royasam srinivasan; his wife Mangalammal of Madurai. There was also Eswara mama of Tirunelveli, Sankara Nambudri, Gangadara ganapadikal and his wife Meenakshi ammal.

They were required in the story to introduce the real characters like

Narayanan (Nana) of the srivatsa clan, his wife Lakshmi and their sons Srinivasan alias seenu and Sundaram alias Sundu.

Kamu and Ambi are the parentless pair to be married later.

Theirs will be the first family tree of the Bharatwaja clan of Chinnamanur.

Our story will be confined to such of those family trees and its specific branches to which our clan members are linked with.

The chart to follow next will give an idea of it for reference.

Since C.srinivasan was adopted by Nanappa, his family got linked to Sundu’s family tree thus,  

M.Muthukrishnan (Kitchu) – C.S. Muthusamy – C.Srinivasan – Narayana iyer (Nanappa) – Sundararaja iyer – Sundaram iyer (Sundu) – Narayana iyer (Nana) of srivatsa clan.

Yet another link for Kitchu with Bharatwaja clan exists through his paternal grand mother thus,
